This paper describes a comprehensive set of best practices that allow mid-market enterprise SAP customers to appropriately configure and use HP management software to monitor, manage, and operate an SAP® environment. The target environment is a Windows®-based SAP deployment with more than 1,000 users, using HP c-Class Server Blades, HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) storage, and Microsoft® SQL Server (MS-SQL) as the database management system (DBMS).
